I'll never get sick of skulls, especially Mcqueens. They're a modern classic. I've got some of his skull rings on my blog too!

Extremely practical this ring eh?

Seriously its kinda sad that mcqueen is still parading the skull theme four years later (who can forget all those mcqueen skull scarves worn by lohan, sienna etc?). It might be time to inject some new creativity into the brand.

ANNABELL you're a complete hag and do not have an original bone in your body.

Anons are free to post wherever and whenever they chose just as you are. Now trot off and mind your own business on your own blog. Try sorting it out first (I can see tumbleweed blowing through your blogspot) before becoming overly concerned about who comments on popular blogs.

Alright.. to that crazy anon, it's called a trademark... you ignorant freak.

and i'm pretty sure this isn't anything like his skull scarfs. you obviously have something against mcqueen, which is stupid because look where he is in the fashion industry, and look where you are. on your computer commenting blogs.

Anon 9:17 aka Cat

Its not a trademark you pleb, Alexander McQueen is the trademark. It could hardly be called a trademark if many other brands have used skulls - that would be a trend. It has become as gimmicky as all that LV logo crap that used to be shoved in faces. Skulls do not define McQueen. Think before you start with the verbal diarrhoea.

Skulls arent beautiful. And I dont know why alexander mcqueen would create such a thing as knucklerings? it makes me think of violence, abuse and people who beat others up because of their own insecurity. Not something I would like my brand to be symbolised with. I hope those never come in style.

MAGNIFIQUEEEEEE !

3:25 A.m.... im pretty sure the difference between a trend and a trademark is that trademarks last and mcqueen's skulls have lasted...

i also highly doubt that was Kat.

Anonymous said...

^^^how did you point out a difference? What is the timescale for a trend then? Skulls are a trend because a trademark is something that is distinctive or identifies the brand. I doubt if you asked McQueen what marks out his brand from the rest he would say skulls. As was said earlier, lots of brands have used skulls. TREND.
