there is something so intersting about masks, i think they are so mysterious and beautiful...i have long had an obsession with them. My first mask was a mask i made in the third grade, it was one of the monsters from "where the wild things are" ( which is one of my favorite children's books) ever since that i have made so many of my own..i have a large collection of hand made masks, most of them made by me. i know this is a strange obsession, but masks have made their way on the runway, starting with Luella's notorious cat mask, so now i feel a little less uneasy about my strange obsession.

I have the same obsession!
Mine began a few years ago though when Cory Kennedy (ugh I know) and MK and assorted hangers on all wore masks on a night out. If I can find the pictures again I'll show you but it was at least 2 years ago now.
Anyway yeah they're awesome. I want to just wear one as part of an outfit.
